In personal and budget oriented limitations of consumer gear and w asting a lot of time figuring out howto get around those limitations. With the CD-RW700, y ou can put yourfocus back on production, because this recorder has y our solutions.
The CD-RW700 breaks piece. Rather than try to figure out how to add a button or some r ack earsto get more money out of a consumer CD-RW machine, we started with our top of the line CD-RW2000 and kept the functions you need most.
For starters, a RAM buffermodes. Further , adjustable parameters on the auto ID logic allow y ou toadjust your threshold for the auto ID lev el, so the machine will identifythe breaks between tracks, but not add extr a ones in soft passages. Adigital gain adjustment and digital fade in/out capabilities are also bu\
ilt -in for boosting low recordings, or adding a smoother fade in/out to asong. Audio qualit y was a top priorit y with the CD-RW700; y oull find24 bit A/D and D/A converters for the smoothest sound a vailable.
Sa ving the best fomedia to use this machine. The abilit y to use regular CD-R and CD-RW media will save y ou a great deal of time and money .
DJs - Live Sound Applications - Show Control
In applications where the use, you can tak e comfort in the fact that the mechanism in the CD-RW700 is a TEAC data driv e, not a flimsy plastic tray. The TEAC CDtechnology is among the best in the world in reliabilit y, performance anddur abilit y. Plus, the driv e searches incredibly fast so y ou dont have tow ait to find y our cue points.
The CD-RW700same mechanism can serv e as a reliable CD-Recorder for assembling sound cues for a show or presentation, then act as a lightning fast CDplayer that can be controlled through infr ared controllers for automatedpresentations.

    APPROVED MEDIA LIST
    Notes on CD-R media:
Qualit y andmanufacturers will v ary from brand to brand. This has to do with different manufacturing processes of both the CD-R media and the CD-R mechanism. (Some media that does not work well with one CD-R mechanism ma y work reasonably with another .)
In orderare posting an approved list of media for use. Media from each of these manufacturers w as written to and verified. The media listed as OK is preferred. The media listed as NR t ypically workedbut had a higher error r ate, so it is not recommended. Mitsuimedia is used as the target media reference, so y oure alwayssafe with those.
W e ha ve tested and 80 minute CD media, and the mechanisms will recogniz e and use the full legnth of the CD.

    SCMS/MEDIA CONTROL
The first few shipments of the CD-RW700 shipped requiring consumer CD-RDA and CD-RWDA. The original design did not call for this, it was added at the last minute due to legal consider ations about the CD-R market. All units that shipped after March, 2000 do not require consumer media.
For the older code and consumer media requirements ha ve a deep system menuallowing these settings to be o verridden. Since the legal issues ha ve been resolv ed, we are releasing the information on how to reset your machine to use regular media. The instructions are as follows:
