CD-D4000mkII
The CD-D4000mkII is a simple CD duplicator capable ofduplicating at up to 8x speeds.  This duplicator is an affordable machine designed for limited runs of CDs.The CD-ROM and CD-R drives are both TEAC drives,offering the best reliabilit y in the business.  The abilit yto back up data discs as well as audio discs comes in handy for backing up important business data, or assembling press kits.  The oper ation of the unit is made simple with the two button interface.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The CD-D4000mkII is a simple duplication machine that fits con veniently in a standard audio r ack.  The fast duplication speeds and wide v ariety of supported formats allows the CD-D4000mkII to fit into a number ofapplications.
Personal Studio - Project Studio - Mobile Studio
Many personalbut the duplication of a CD is handled b y real time transfers between tworecorders in the studio .  Sometimes, this link isnt ev en digital.  TheCD-D4000mkII allows direct duplication of CDs at up to 8x speed.  The dedicated duplicator is very convenient when the session is o ver , and eachperson w ants a reference cop y to listen to in the car on the w ay home.
In studios incredibly v aluable because of the great reliabilit y rate of duplication.  Notonly that, but using a CD-D4000mkII means y our computer is freed up towork on other things while the CD is duplicating.

Houses of Worship
Man y houses of worship members of their congregation who couldnt attend.  The popular media of\
 choice currently is cassette, but if y ou look at the cost of a CD as opposed to cassette, the CDs are often cheaper .  (Not to mention they sound a lot better.)  The CD-D4000mkII would be a wonderful replacement for cassette duplicators for groups that w ant the best sound quality available, regardless of their technical abilit y.
Office Buildings
There are a number of applications where not engineers or progr ammers.  The simple, two button oper ation makesthe CD-D4000mkII a simple machine to run... certainly easier than thecopy machine.  Plus, the r ack mountable case helps k eep the unit storedwith the audio gear in the conference room, or ev en in the racks with thecompany network equipment.

APPROVED MEDIA LIST
Notes on CD-R media:
Qualit y andmanufacturers will v ary from brand to brand.  This has to do with different manufacturing processes of both the CD-R media and the CD-R mechanism.  (Some media that does not work well with one CD-R mechanism ma y work reasonably with another .)
In orderare posting an approved list of media for use.  Media from each of these manufacturers w as written to and verified.  The media listed as OK is preferred.  The media listed as NR t ypically workedbut had a higher error r ate, so it is not recommended.  Mitsuimedia is used as the target media reference, so y oure alwayssafe with those.

The CD duplicator shall be a single ba y duplicator that can mount in a standard 19 rack mount form.  Dimensions shall be 19 x 4.1 x 11.3 (W x H x D), taking up two standard heightrack spaces.

Thewell as CD-R and CD-RW masters in a v ariety of formats including A udio CD, ISO-9660, Mac F ormat, and Photo CD .
Duplicationand 1x for the optimum speed for the master CD .
A twodisplay for all oper ational functions, including cop y start, verifymaster , compare cop y, pla y audio CD , and copy speed selection.Separate headphone outputs shall be pro vided for each CD trayfor listening when that tr ay is engaged in pla y audio CD mode.
