    TA SCAMs 302 is an adv anced dual well cassette deckdesigned for users that need high qualit y recording, duplication, and a wealth of playback features.  The302 can act as two totally independent cassette deckswith separate I/O for each deck, or it can switch to aninput saving common I/O mode for creating two identical masters at the same time.  Independentpitch control, counters, and return to z ero functionmake this perfect for musicians, DJs and dancers asa mix down or duplication deck.

    The 302 is designed for regular use and v ersatility, combining a featurerich cassette recorder/pla yer with extended duplication capabilities.
    Home or Project In the home and project studios, each device ends up serving more thanone application.  The 302 cassette deck offers the abilit y to create twomasters at once, generating more reference mix es faster for listening inthe car or in the living room.  A return to z ero function helps users whoare trying to put more mixes on a single tape by locating to the beginningof the tune on cue.
    As withcopies for high qualit y duplication or 2x duplication for rehearsal tapesor quick dubs.  Unlike most of its competitors, multiple 302s can be combined to create a duplication r ack.  Ports on the back are pro vided for transport control and audio cascading.
    Music EduBand, Choir , Theater and Dance progr ams often need to be able to mak e copies of rehearsal tapes for their performers to pr actice with.  The 302 makes these quick and painless.  The  ±10% pitch control on the front panel can help nudge an out of tune tr ack into tune with a musician, or totally change the tempo for dancers and aerobic work outs.

The 302 is an ideal product for thismark et, offering the abilit y to serve as a cassette pla yer and masterrecorder simultaneously .  (Music could be played from one well whilethe recording is made on the other .)  
    The abilityOne machine could be used in the main gathering area, and another machine w as used with a more portable system.  These two units could be brought together for duplication.
    Live TheaterSince the two wells of the 302 can work independently , one well could beused for cueing a tape while the other well is playing.  Also, the ability tomake high qualit y back-ups of show cues is incredibly handy .

    FRONT AND BACK PANEL
    OPTIONAL REMOTEARCHITECTS SPECIFICATIONS
    The cassette pla yer/recorder shall be a dual cassette deck, offering the abilit y to record on both wells of the deck.  
    Independent inputs and outputsbe provided for each deck on unbalanced RCA connectors on the rear panel.  The input lev el shall be controlled b y a single stereo input level control, aided b y a 
    separate balance control.  The inputs andoutputs of the two decks shall ha ve a common mode, allowing both decks touse the same inputs and outputs shouldthe user choose to do so .  Headphone output shall be provided on the front panel.
    Pitchand shall be controlled independently on each deck.
    Each deckmeters, and a digital counter which candisplay tape time in minutes and seconds.A separ ate counter reset button shall be offered for each deck, and a return to z ero function shall locate to the zero time indication. 
    Dolby™  B and CDolb y HX Pro head-room extension shall be implemented.  Noise reduction method shall be switched from the front panel.
    The dual normal speed and high speed (2x) dubbing capabilities.  Additionally ,
    multiple like machines shall be linkablewith dedicated tr ansport control and cascade output ports.
    The dualstandard 19 rack mount form, using three standard r ack spaces.  The cassette mechanism shall ha ve dimensions of 19 x 5.5 x 12.8 (W x H x D).
