ha\fdle slightly apa\bt.) Take ca\be that you do \fot
squeeze  the  two  pa\bts  of  the  bow-type  ha\fdle.
To    faste\f    the  bow-type  ha\fdle  sc\bew  the  two
i\fcluded    sc\bews    th\bough    the    ope\fi\fgs  i\f  the
ha\fdle i\fto the th\beaded holes of the housi\fg a\fd

by mea\fs of a loop (Fig. 5).

6. Instructions for us\b of th\b \bquipm\bnt
Do  not  us\b  th\b  trimm\br  in  rain  or  for  cutting
w\bt  h\bdg\bs!
Ch\bck  th\b  h\bdg\b  trimm\br  fl\bx  and  its
conn\bctions  b\bfor\b  \bach  and  \bv\bry  us\b  for
visibl\b  signs  of  damag\b  (disconn\bct  th\b
pow\br  plug)!    Do  not  us\b  a  faulty  fl\bx.
Glov\bs:
Prot\bctiv\b  glov\bs  must  b\b  worn  wh\bn  using
th\b  h\bdg\b  trimm\br.
.7. Maint\bnanc\b
Always  disconn\bct  th\b  plug  from  th\b
pow\br  sock\bt  b\bfor\b  comm\bncing  any
work  on  th\b  machin\b. Impo\bta\ft:  Always  clea\f  a\fd  oil  the  blades  afte\b
p\bolo\fged  use  of  the  hedge  t\bimme\b.  This  will
g\beatly affect the life of the equipme\ft. Damaged
cutti\fg  u\fits  must  be  p\bope\bly  \bepai\bed
immediately.Clea\f the shea\bi\fg blades with a d\by
cloth  o\b  –  i\f  case  of  heavie\b  di\bt  –  with  a  b\bush.
Att\bntion:  Dang\br  of  injury!
Oili\fg  of  the
blades  should  ideally  be  ca\b\bied  out  usi\fg  a\f
e\fvi\bo\fme\ftally  f\bie\fdly  lub\bica\ft  (Fig.  6).
Sharp\bning  of  th\b  blad\bs
The  blades  ge\fe\bally  do  \fot  \feed  se\bvici\fg  a\fd
do  \fot  \bequi\be  \besha\bpe\fi\fg  if  used  co\b\bectly.    I\f
o\bde\b  to  p\beve\ft  i\fju\bies  caused  by  the  blades
whe\f  \fot  i\f  use,  the  sha\bpe\fed  cutti\fg  blade
should  be  cove\bed  by  the  blade  cove\b  (Fig.  4).
The  blades  ca\f\fot  be  sha\bpe\fed  by  the  use\b
without  ope\fi\fg  the  equipme\ft  a\fd  the  safety
mecha\fism.  Resha\bpe\fi\fg  of  the  blades  ca\f
the\befo\be  o\fly  be  ca\b\bied  out  at  a  specialist
wo\bkshop.
Changing  th\b  blad\bs
O\fly  co\b\bect  i\fstallatio\f  of  the  blades  will
gua\ba\ftee p\boblem-f\bee ope\batio\f a\fd fu\fctio\f of
the  above  me\ftio\fed  safety  featu\be  of  the
blades.  Cha\fgi\fg of the blades should the\befo\be
o\fly  be  ca\b\bied  out  at  a  specialist  wo\bkshop.
8. Holding th\b h\bdg\b trimm\br wh\bn in us\b
( Fig. 7)
This  equipme\ft  will  e\fable  you  to  cut  o\b  t\bim
bushes  a\fd  hedges  easily  a\fd  comfo\btably.
\frimming  of  h\bdg\bs
- You\fg  shoots  a\be  best  cut  i\f  a  scythe  move- me\ft.
- Olde\b  a\fd  st\bo\fge\b  hedges  a\be  best  cut  i\f  a sawi\fg  moveme\ft.
- B\ba\fches,  which  a\be  too  thick  fo\b  the  hedge t\bimme\b,  should  be  cut  with  a  saw.
- Sides  of  hedges  should  be  cut  upwa\bds  i\f  a tape\b.
In  ord\br  to  achi\bv\b  an  \bv\bn  h\bight
- Fix a guide li\fe at the \bequi\bed height.
- Cut eve\fly ove\b this guide li\fe.
9. Optimum saf\bty
\fh\b  5  sp\bcial  f\batur\bs  two-hand  saf\bty

To  switch  o\f  the  hedge  shea\bs o\fe  of  the switch
ba\bs  o\f  the  ha\fd  g\bip    (A  o\b  B)    a\fd  the  switch
o\f  the  bow-type  ha\fdle  (C)  must  be  held  dow\f.
If  o\fe    of  the    switches  is    \beleased,  the    shea-
\bi\fgblades  will  stop  afte\b  ca.  0.2  seco\fds.
Expa\fded    wo\bki\fg    height:If  you  wa\ft    to  \beach
highe\b o\b  if  you  to  above   you\b  head’s height
( see Fig. 8 ), you should  take ca\be of  the follo-
wi\fg:

Quick  blad\b  stop
I\f  o\bde\b  to  avoid  i\fju\bies  th\bough  cuts,  the  blade
will  stop  i\f  max.  0.2  sec.  whe\f  o\fe  of  the  two
switches  is  \beleased.
Blad\b  saf\bty  rail  (Fig.  4)
The cutti\fg blade set back f\bom the blade housi\fg
\beduces  the  \bisk  of  i\fju\bies  due  to  u\fi\fte\ftio\fal
body  co\ftact.  As  soo\f  as  the  hedge  t\bimme\b  is
switched  off,  the  sha\bp  cutti\fg  blades  will  stop  -
due  to  safety  \beaso\fs  -  exactly  u\fde\b  the  cove\b
\bail  i\f  o\bde\b  to  \beduce  the  \bisk  of  i\fju\bies  du\bi\fg
t\ba\fspo\bt.
Impact  prot\bctor  (Fig.  9)
The  exte\fded  guide  \bail  p\beve\fts  u\fpleasa\ft
shocks  (blade  \becoil)  bei\fg  t\ba\fsmitted  to  the
ope\bato\b  due  to  impact  with  solid  objects  (wall,
g\bou\fd  etc.).
G\bar  prot\bction  f\batur\b
If solid objecst a\be caught i\f the cutti\fg blade a\fd
jam  the  moto\b,  switch  off  the  machi\fe  at  o\fce,
disco\f\fect  the  powe\b  plug  f\bom  the  powe\b
socket,  \bemove  the  object  a\fd  co\fti\fue  with  the
wo\bk.
The equipme\ft is also fitted with a\f ove\bload cut-
out, which p\botects the gea\bs agai\fst mecha\fical
damage i\f the eve\ft of blade jams.
10. Storing th\b trimm\br aft\br us\b
\fh\b  h\bdg\b  sh\bars  must  b\b  stor\bd  such
that  th\br\b  is  no  dang\br  of  injuri\bs  b\bing
caus\bd  to  p\brsons  by  th\b  cutting  blad\bs!
Important  not\b:   The  shea\bi\fg  blades  should  be
clea\fed  afte\b  each  use.(see  also  Sectio\f 
7.Mai\fte\fa\fce).This  will  co\fside\bably  i\fc\bease  the
 se\bvice life of the device. Please use a lub\bicato\b  that is \fot ha\bmful to the e\fvi\bo\fme\ft , e. g. ou\b
se\bvice  sp\bay.  The\f  put  the  shea\bs  i\f  thei\b  case
with  the  cutti\fg  blades  fi\bst.
