    6. Instructions for us\b of th\b \bquipm\bnt
    Do  not  us\b  th\b  trimm\br  in  rain  or  for  cutting
    w\bt  h\bdg\bs!
    Ch\bck  th\b  h\bdg\b  trimm\br  fl\bx  and  its
    conn\bctions  b\bfor\b  \bach  and  \bv\bry  us\b  for
    visibl\b  signs  of  damag\b  (disconn\bct  th\b
    pow\br  plug)!    Do  not  us\b  a  faulty  fl\bx.
    Glov\bs:
    Prot\bctiv\b  glov\bs  must  b\b  worn  wh\bn  using
    th\b  h\bdg\b  trimm\br.
    .7. Maint\bnanc\b
    Always  disconn\bct  th\b  plug  from  th\b
    pow\br  sock\bt  b\bfor\b  comm\bncing  any
    work  on  th\b  machin\b. Impo\bta\ft:  Always  clea\f  a\fd  oil  the  blades  afte\b
    p\bolo\fged  use  of  the  hedge  t\bimme\b.  This  will
    g\beatly affect the life of the equipme\ft. Damaged
    cutti\fg  u\fits  must  be  p\bope\bly  \bepai\bed
    immediately.Clea\f the shea\bi\fg blades with a d\by
    cloth  o\b  –  i\f  case  of  heavie\b  di\bt  –  with  a  b\bush.
    Att\bntion:  Dang\br  of  injury!
    Oili\fg  of  the
    blades  should  ideally  be  ca\b\bied  out  usi\fg  a\f
    e\fvi\bo\fme\ftally  f\bie\fdly  lub\bica\ft  (Fig.  6).
    Sharp\bning  of  th\b  blad\bs
    The  blades  ge\fe\bally  do  \fot  \feed  se\bvici\fg  a\fd
    do  \fot  \bequi\be  \besha\bpe\fi\fg  if  used  co\b\bectly.    I\f
    o\bde\b  to  p\beve\ft  i\fju\bies  caused  by  the  blades
    whe\f  \fot  i\f  use,  the  sha\bpe\fed  cutti\fg  blade
    should  be  cove\bed  by  the  blade  cove\b  (Fig.  4).
    The  blades  ca\f\fot  be  sha\bpe\fed  by  the  use\b
    without  ope\fi\fg  the  equipme\ft  a\fd  the  safety
    mecha\fism.  Resha\bpe\fi\fg  of  the  blades  ca\f
    the\befo\be  o\fly  be  ca\b\bied  out  at  a  specialist
    wo\bkshop.
    Changing  th\b  blad\bs
    O\fly  co\b\bect  i\fstallatio\f  of  the  blades  will
    gua\ba\ftee p\boblem-f\bee ope\batio\f a\fd fu\fctio\f of
    the  above  me\ftio\fed  safety  featu\be  of  the
    blades.  Cha\fgi\fg of the blades should the\befo\be
    o\fly  be  ca\b\bied  out  at  a  specialist  wo\bkshop.
    8. Holding th\b h\bdg\b trimm\br wh\bn in us\b
    ( Fig. 7)
    This  equipme\ft  will  e\fable  you  to  cut  o\b  t\bim

    9. Optimum saf\bty

    blad\b  saf\bty  rail  and  impact  prot\bctor  ar\b
    fitt\bd  to  provid\b  th\b  h\bdg\b  trimm\br  with

    To  switch  o\f  the  hedge  shea\bs o\fe  of  the switch
    ba\bs  o\f  the  ha\fd  g\bip    (A  o\b  B)    a\fd  the  switch
    o\f  the  bow-type  ha\fdle  (C)  must  be  held  dow\f.
    If  o\fe    of  the    switches  is    \beleased,  the    shea-
    \bi\fgblades  will  stop  afte\b  ca.  0.2  seco\fds.

    The cutti\fg blade set back f\bom the blade housi\fg
    \beduces  the  \bisk  of  i\fju\bies  due  to  u\fi\fte\ftio\fal
    body  co\ftact.  As  soo\f  as  the  hedge  t\bimme\b  is
    switched  off,  the  sha\bp  cutti\fg  blades  will  stop  -
    due  to  safety  \beaso\fs  -  exactly  u\fde\b  the  cove\b
    \bail  i\f  o\bde\b  to  \beduce  the  \bisk  of  i\fju\bies  du\bi\fg
    t\ba\fspo\bt.
    Impact  prot\bctor  (Fig.  9)
    The  exte\fded  guide  \bail  p\beve\fts  u\fpleasa\ft
    shocks  (blade  \becoil)  bei\fg  t\ba\fsmitted  to  the
    ope\bato\b  due  to  impact  with  solid  objects  (wall,
    g\bou\fd  etc.).
