If the option “Snap to waveform when crossfading” is activated on the Edit view : Fade menu, and the focused clip (if any, see “About selected and fo- cused clips” on page 413) is moved to the left so that it overlaps another clip, the nudged clip will be time-adjusted slightly to match the waveform in the left clip.
