Dont be fooled by its slight size. Although the ECLIPSE+
is the smallest fixed mount VHF marine radio STANDARD
HORIZON has ever made, you can still expect the big
performance of a full-featured radio plus powerful, crystal-
clear communications under any conditions at sea.
Building a submersible radio is no simple task! STANDARD HORIZON
utilizes a high impact non-corrosive case, conspicuous waterproof
gasketing, connectors and PCBs protected with Humiseal barrier.
Engineered for unparalleled reliability, the HORIZON ECLIPSE+
exceeds stringent JIS7 standards for submersible testing.
The ECLIPSE+ utilizes an exceptional microphone meeting the same
strict standards for waterproofing as the radio. ECLIPSE+ features
Clear Voice Noise Reduction Technology eliminating unwanted
background noises like engines and wind during transmission. This
assures transmissions are crystal clear. Handy buttons on the rubber-
armored microphone provide convenient access to channels 16 and 9
plus up/down channel selection.
Like all STANDARD HORIZON scanning radios, you can easily
program the ECLIPSE+ to scan any number or combination of
channels you choose with or without priority on channel 16.
At first glance, the trim size of the ECLIPSE+ makes you wonder how
so much transmit power and so may features could be packed into this
radio. But theyre all in there a full 25-watt output, all US, Canadian
and International channels plus 10 NOAA Weather channels that
provide you with 24-hour continuous broadcasts. Press a single button
and get all the information you need on a jumbo, super-readable LCD.
And should you need help fast, the ECLIPSE+ also offers instant
access to hailing channel 9 as well as USCG emergency channel 16.
The ECLIPSE+ features 10 NOAA weather channels including weather
alert allowing the ECLIPSE+ to intercept frequency encoded regional
Emergency Weather alerts. The LCD display provides visual indications
for all scanning functions with bold easy to understand flags.
The ECLIPSE+ is covered by STANDARD HORIZONs exclusive 3-
year Waterproof Warranty. If your STANDARD HORIZON radio fails for
any reason, including water damage, during normal use in the first 3
years, STANDARD HORIZON will repair it without hassle or
charges….period! If it fails thereafter in normal use for as long as you
own it, our unique Lifetime Flat Rate Service Program will cover it. Flat
rate is established at time of original purchase based upon the factories
