VGN-FExx series Disassemble instructions
Disassemble the ASSY Thermal CPU and
CPU
Step 30. Gently remove the ASSY
Thermal CPU cable.
Step 31. Using a screwdriver, remove the
marked screw.
Step 32. Gently remove the ASSY
Thermal CPU and set aside.
Step 33. Unlock the CPU socket in the direction of arrow then remove the CPU.
Step 34. Gently remove the Modem
cable.
Step 35. Using a screwdriver remove the
marked screw.

1. Disassemble the W-LAN module
2. Disassemble the Motherboard
3. Disassemble the PWBA touchpad
Step 36. Turn around the WHU and unlock
the socket as shown.
Step 37. Remove the WLAN card and set
aside.
Step 38. Remove the marked screw and
cable.
Step 39. Remove the M/B and set aside.
Step 40. Remove the marked screw and
cable.
Step 39. Remove the PWBA touchpad.
