VPL-FX40(L) XGA Network Projector 4000 ANSI Lumen Plenitude of features, state of the art technology, ease of use and maintenance, ultra modern design and extremely bright are just a few of the many accolades that describe the new Sony VPL-FX40 3-LCD installation projector. Delivering an extremely bright 4000 ANSI lumens in a slick ophisticated body, the VPL-FX40 is an excellent projector for high-impact multimedia presentations. For applications ranging from business conferences and seminars to education, in locations such as boardrooms, large con- ference rooms, R&D facilities and university classrooms, the VPL-FX40 projector will captivate audiences with breathtaking image quality. www.sonybiz.net/projectors Brightness By combining the new Sony BrightEra™inorganic LCD panels with a cost-efficient 275W ultra high pressure lamp, this beautifully styled projector achieves outstanding brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens. That means you can deliver dynamic, large screen presentations, even in high ambient lighting environments. Network Capability Connected to a LAN (Local Area Network) via RJ45, the projector can be individually managed and monitored remotely via the built-in projector browser. Alternatively, with the optional Sony Ziris Light software, users can manage multiple projectors over the network. High Resolution The VPL-FX40 offers native XGA resolution for high picture quality even on a large screen. Flexible Installation The projector can be tilted 90 degrees upwards or downwards, allowing it to be installed in several different ways. When applications require double the light output, two projectors can be twin-stacked and the Picture Shift function is used to match the pictures from each projector. Optional Lenses The VPL-FX40 projector is supplied as standard with a power lens that is suitable for most general applications. If a specific application requires a special lens, then the VPL-FX40L is available. This model is supplied without a standard lens but is compatible with any of three optional lens types. This flexibility makes the projector ideal for a very wide range of environments and applications. Multi Input The VPL-FX40 is loaded with interfaces: 2X RGB for flexible connections, 5BNC and HDMI to connect to digital RGB equipment equipped with HDMI (HDCP), RS232C port for management and control, Network RJ45 for management, maintenance and presentation*, Video in, S Video and Composite Video. Each input (Input A, B, C and Monitor out) has its own dedicated Audio/Stereo mini jack. Additional Features Direct Power On This function allows the projector to be powered on immediately, bypassing standby mode completely. This is especially useful in large-scale facilities such as museums, auditoriums and conference halls, with images ready for projection as soon as the circuit-breaker on the switchboard is turned on. Monitor Out The projector can display the same image simultaneously on a large screen and on an additional monitor so the user can face the audience and still see the information being shown. Easy Maintenance The filters can be cleaned and the lamp can easily be replaced in a ceiling application without taking it down from its location.
