Before saving, install the software “PlayMemories Home” on your computer, connect the computer and the camera using a USB cable, and register the camera to “PlayMemories Home.” You will also need to register your access point beforehand (pages 195, 196). 1 Start your computer. 2 MENU t [Playback] t [Send to Computer] Depending on the application settings of your computer, the camera will turn off after saving the images to your computer. 122GB Table of contents Sample photo Menu IndexView on TV If the camera and TV are not connected using an HDMI cable, you can view images on a network-enabled TV by transferring the image from the camera. You can change the settings for the slideshow by pressing OPTION. * The settings are effective only for BRAVIA TV which is compatible with the functions. You can use this function on a TV that supports DLNA renderer. You can view images on a Wi-Fi Direct-enabled TV or network-enabled TV (including cable TV). When you use a Wi-Fi Direct-enabled TV, you can view images even if the TV is not connected to network. If you connect TV and the camera and do not use Wi-Fi Direct, you need to register your access point on the camera first (pages 195, 196). Displaying the images on the TV may take time. Movies cannot be shown on TV using Wi-Fi. The (Print order) mark is displayed on registered images (DPOF: Digital Print Order Format). 1 MENU t [Playback] t [Specify Printing] t desired setting. You cannot add the DPOF mark to the following files: –Movies – RAW images You can add the DPOF mark to up to 999 images. DPOF registration is not cleared after printing. It is recommended that you clear the DPOF registration after you print the still images. DPOF Setup Multiple Img. Selects images to order printing. 1Select an image and press the center of the control wheel. To cancel the selection, select the -marked image again. You can select or deselect by touching the image (NEX-5R only). 2 Repeat the operation on all images you want to print. Cancel All Clears all DPOF marks. When [Autofocus Mode] is set to [Continuous AF], the [Off] settings for [AEL w/ shutter] is invalid, and the camera fixes the exposure for the first image when you press the shutter button halfway down. In [Cont. Shooting] or [Spd Priority Cont.] mode, the camera keeps adjusting the exposure for the remaining images. AEL button operation (NEX-6 only) is given priority over the [AEL w/ shutter] settings. When [AEL toggle] is assigned to soft key B using [Custom Key Settings], operation using soft key B will be given priority over the [AEL w/ shutter] settings (NEX-5R only). On Fixes the exposure when you press the shutter button halfway down. Off Does not fix the exposure when you press the shutter button halfway down. Use this mode when you want to adjust focus and exposure separately. The camera keeps adjusting the exposure while shooting in [Cont. Shooting] or [Spd Priority Cont.] mode. Notes

The red AF illuminator allows the camera to focus easily when the shutter button is pressed halfway, until the focus is locked. 1 MENU t [Setup] t [AF Illuminator] t desired setting. You cannot use the AF illuminator in the following situations: – [Autofocus Mode] is set to [Continuous AF]. – [Landscape], [Night Scene], [Sports Action] in [Scene Selection] – [Sweep Panorama] – Movie recording – Using an A-mount lens (sold separately). When the AF illuminator is used, the setting of [Autofocus Area] is invalid and the AF area is indicated with a dotted line. AF operates with priority on and around the center area.
