31 Playing Discs Playing Discs Depending on the DVD or VIDEO CD, some operations may be different or restricted. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with your disc. 1Turn on your TV. 2Switch the input selector on the TV to this system. 3Press POWER on the system. 32 Resuming Playback from the Point Where You Stopped the Disc (Resume Play) When you stop the disc, the system remembers the point where you pressed x and ÒRESUMEÓ appears on the front panel display. As long as you do not open the disc tray, Resume Play will work even if the system enters standby mode by pressing 1. 1While playing a disc, press x to stop playback. 34 Playing VIDEO CDs with PBC Functions (PBC Playback) With PBC (Playback Control) functions, you can enjoy simple interactive operations, search functions, and other such operations. PBC playback allows you to play VIDEO CDs interactively by following the menu on the TV screen. 1Start playing a VIDEO CD with PBC functions.
