Non-ASCII Characters for Log in Scripts

You can save a backup copy of your CLIE handheld with either of the
following two methods:
• Backing up data using a HotSync
® operation
• Backing up data using “Memory Stick
®” media
Backing up data in your computer using a HotSync operation
By default, you can backup the following data in your computer using a

Restoring backup data and applications to your CLIE handheld
Note
When you restore (copy) backup data and applications to your CLIE handheld, the data
currently saved in your CLIE handheld will be overwritten with the backup data. Any
data created or edited after you saved the backup will be erased.
Insert “Memory Stick” media storing the backup data into your CLIE
handheld and use MS Gate to copy the data to your CLIE handheld....

If you already own a Sony CLIE Handheld, you can use data of your old
CLIE handheld with your new CLIE handheld. You can transfer data from
your old CLIE handheld to your new CLIE handheld with either of the
following methods:
•Using Palm™ Desktop for CLIE to copy data: You can transfer data of
the Palm OS basic applications easily.
