SIM2 has been involved in making high
    definition projectors since the introduction
of the original analog HDMAC format
called EUREKA 95 in \f990. Among the
pioneers “made SIM2” there were the
    multi\baward winning TEATRO Line CRT
projectors. SIM2 has decided to relaunch
this popular and milestone line with unique
    high\btech products designed specifically
for Home Theater applications. The new
TEATRO 80 projector is the first \f080p
model of this ultra high\bend, highest
    brightness digital projector series
engineered to deliver picture details that
have to be seen to be believed. The
TEATRO 80 uses the very latest DLP®
chipsets from Texas Instruments to create
the highest picture quality from HDTV
    sources. Three 0.95” DarkChip4™ DMDs
are utilized in this design to generate a
    picture resolution of \f920 x \f080 pixels
(\f080p). The TEATRO 80 is equipped with
a renewed optical system that coupled
    with SIM2’s dual\blamp system, delivers a
superior contrast ratio of over 7,000:\f and
a brightness of 4500 Ansi Lumens for
    crystal\bclear, uncompressed HDTV images.
The finest quality precision glass optics
are used throughout the light engine of
the TEATRO 80; the clarity, color\buniformity
and edge\bto\bedge focus capabilities of these specialized optical components are
vital to the process of producing the
    breathtaking clarity of on\bscreen images.
SIM2 offers six Super High Contrast (SHC)
lens options for the TEATRO 80, ranging
    from fixed short\bthrow wide\bangle (0.67:\f)
    through to long\bthrow (4.\f6\b6.96:\f).
Motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift
    (vertical and horizontal) complete the
package. As befits an ultra\bhigh end
projector, TEATRO 80 is equipped with the
    Professional SIM2’s EasyCinema software,
    a PC\bbased calibration system, featuring
    full seven\bpoint adjustment of Primary,
Secondary and White Point and full
    projector setup controls, allowing pin\bpoint
accurate calibration of the projector in any
home theater or professional system. The
TEATRO 80 can be connected to a wide
selection of video sources via its
comprehensive input panel: six pure digital
HDCP\bHDMI inputs, an array of analog
inputs, and professional format digital SDI
input. A dedicated \f0/\f00 Mbit Ethernet
connector is fitted as standard, allowing
the TEATRO 80 to be connected to a LAN
network or to the internet. This network
connection can be used to remotely
    control the projector using TCP/IP
    commands or to feedback projector
    operating status information.
