Replacing the Projection Lamp
CAUTION:
•Potential hazard of glass particles if lamp ruptures. Please have Authorized Sharp Industrial LCD
Products Dealer or Service Center replace lamp if rupture occurs.
•Do not remove the lamp cage directly after operation of the projector. The lamp may be extremely
hot. Wait at least one hour after the power cord is disconnected to allow the surface of the lamp cage
to fully cool before removing the lamp cage.

Replacing the Projection Lamp
1Connect the power
cord.Reset the lamp timer.
While pressing ƒ, © and
ENTER on the projector, press
POWER ON on the projector. Plug the power cord into the AC
socket of the projector.
Resetting the lamp timer
•Reset the lamp timer only after replacing the lamp.
“LAMP 0000H” is displayed,
indicating that the lamp timer is
reset.

Using the Carrying Handle
CAUTION
• Always put on the lens cap to prevent damage to the lens
when transporting the projector.
• Do not lift or carry the projector by the lens or the lens cap
as this may damage the lens.

PC control
A computer can be used to control the projector by connecting an RS-232C cable (null modem, cross type, sold
separately) to the projector. (See page 16 for connection.)
Communication conditions
Set the serial port settings of the computer to match that of the table.
Signal format: Conforms to RS-232C standard.
