Using PICTURE menu screen
USER: Select this mode in order to recover the
“PICTURE” level (“CONTRAST”, “BRIGHTNESS”,
“COLOUR”, and “SHARPNESS”) that you had
adjusted at the last time. Each time you change
one of these adjustments, it is memorized
automatically within the option “USER”.
DYNAMIC: This mode has been designed for a
clear-cut image emphasising high contrast for
sports viewing.
STANDARD: Select this mode if you wish to
normalize “PICTURE” levels to default...

CAUTION

DYNAMIC BASS
“DYNAMIC BASS” system extends the frequency
range  to create different bass effects.
✔EXTERNAL
Menu Operation: SOUND Group B (page 11)
Adjust the sound level output to the external
connectors to suit your preference.
LOUDNESS
This setting increases the volume of low and high
frequency signals according to the current volume
setting.
OFF: To deactivate the “LOUDNESS”.

STEREO
This enables the selection of the reception mode when
receiving a “STEREO” or “DUAL” (bilingual) signal. To
let you enjoy “STEREO” and “DUAL” broadcastings,
this TV receives stereo, bilingual, and monaural
broadcasts.
NOTE
•About sound mode: In the “STEREO” menu you can
select a sound mode to the SPEAKERS and
HEADPHONES, and another to the audio output of the
external connectors (EXT 2 and AV OUTPUT).

TIMERS
You can set “DATE”, “TIME” (Clock), “ON TIMER”
(Wake-up timer) and “OFF TIMER” (Sleep timer) to
automatically turn on and off the TV or RADIO at the
specified time.
You can also set “ON TIMER” to automatically turn on
at the specified sound volume.
The Timer functions that turn power on at the specified
time do not work unless the clock has been adjusted.
Be sure to adjust the “DATE” and the “TIME” (Clock)
first.

In this menu you can set a late start and stop time for
a recording.
DATE
Set the recording date.

Set the time of recording beginning.
STOP
Set the time of recording end.
MODE
If you want to make additional recordings at the same
time each day, from Monday to Friday or weekly, select
“DAILY”, “MON-FRI” or “WEEKLY”.
SPEED
Use this setting to change recording speed between
“SP” Standard-Play and “LP”...

NONE: To cancel the protection from the selected
programme.
ALWAYS: The access to the selected programme
will be protected always.
TIMER: The access to the selected programme will
be protected during the programmed period. If
you have set “TIMER”, it is indispensable to set
“START” and “STOP” period.
