Taking Pictures
Taking pictures with your phone’s builtin camera is as simple
as choosing a subject, pointing the lens, and pressing a
button. You can activate the phone’s camera mode whether
the phone is open or closed.
To take a picture with the phone open:
1.Select> Pictures > Camerato activate camera mode.
(Additional camera options are available through the
camera mode

Creating Your Sprint Picture Mail Password
The first time you use any of the picture management options
involving the Sprint Picture Mail Web site, you will need to
establish a Sprint Picture Mail password through your phone.
This password will also allow you to sign in to the Sprint
Picture Mail Web site at
www.sprint.com/picturemailto access
and manage your uploaded pictures and albums.
To create your Sprint Picture Mail password:
1.Select> Pictures > Online...

Camera Mode Options
When the phone is open and in camera mode, selectOptions
(right softkey) to display additional camera options:
Picture Modeto select a picture mode from Normal,
Beach/Snow, Scenery, Night/Dark, or Soft Focus.
Zoomto zoom in on a subject. (See “Using the Zoom” on
page 129 for details.)
SelfTimerto activate the camera’s timer. (See “Setting the
SelfTimer” on page 129 for details.)

Setting the SelfTimer
To activate the selftimer:
1.From camera mode, selectOptions(right softkey) > 
SelfTimer
.
2.Highlight the length of delay you want the timer to use
(
10 Secondsor 5 Seconds) and press  .
3.SelectStart(left softkey) when you are ready to start the
timer. ( appears on the upper right portion of the
Main LCD during the selftimer countdown.)
4.Get ready for the picture. (When the timer is down to
three seconds, the selftimer icon will turn red...

Taking Multiple Shots
This feature allows you to take up to nine continuous shots in
sequence. When you take multiple shots, the  icon will be
displayed in the viewfinder.
To take multiple shots:
1.From camera mode, selectOptions(right softkey)>

2.Select an available option and press  .
3.Select the duration of the interval between shots

Selecting Camera Settings
To select your camera settings:

Storing Pictures
Your phone’s picture storage area is called My Pictures. There are
two types of storage areas for your pictures that can be used
separately according to your needs:
In Camera(see below)
Saved to Phone (see page 135)
In Camera Folder
The storage area of your phone is called the In Camerafolder.
From the In Camera folder, you can view pictures saved in your
phone, send them to the Sprint Picture Mail Web site(
