Becausetheradioiscapableofreceiving FMmultiplexstereo,StereoHEADPHONES Shouldbeused.Whenlisteningtostereo FM,besurethattheFM:STEREO/MONO switchissettotheSTEREOposition.LOCKSWITCHUSEUsingtheLOCKSwitchprevents unauthorizedoperationoftheradioandwill alsopreventthestationyouarelisteningto frombeingchanged.WhentheLOCK switchismovedtoitsupposition,the POWERbuttonandTUNINGcontrolsare completelydisabled.Iftheradioisonwhen theLOCKswitchismovedtoitsup position,youwillnotbeabletoturnitoff.
