    \fnstalling the Stan\h\b
     ✎Be\fore assemblin\b the product, place the product down on a \flat and stable sur\face so that the screen is \facin\b 
    downwards.
    Insert the Stand C\oonnector into the 
    Stand in the direction shown by the \o
    fi\bure.Check i\f the Stand C\oonnector is firmly 
    connected.
    Turn the connectin\b screw at the 
    bottom o\f the stand \o\fully so that it is \o
    completely fixed.
    Place a so\ft cloth ov\oer the table to 
    protect the product and place the \o
    product onto the cloth \oso that the \front 
    o\f the product is \facin\b downwa\ords. Push the assembled\o stand into the 
    main body in the dir\oection o\f the arrow 
    as shown in the fi\bur\oe.
    Firmly \fasten the s\otand usin\b the 
    screws.
    - Caution
    I\f the hei\bht o\f "
    BA" on one side is 
    di\f\ferent \from the other side, u\on\fasten 
    the screws, adjust the he\oi\bhts, and 
    re-assemble. Avoid li\ftin\b the product holdin\b only 
    the stand.
     ✎The cleanin\b cloth is supplied with black hi\bh-\blossy models only.

    Viewing the Control Panel
     ✎The product colour and shape may vary dependin\b on the model.
    Power IndicatorBlinks and turns o\f\f when the power is \oon and li\bhts up in \ostandby mode.
    Remote control sensor Aim the remote control towards this spot on the \oTV.
    SOURCE
    ETo\b\bles between all t\ohe available input \osources. In the on-screen menu, use this \o
    button as you would \ouse the E\bTERE button on the remote control.
    ME\bU Displays an on-screen menu, the OSD \o(on screen display) o\f your\o TV’s \features.
    YAdjusts the volume.\o In the OSD, use t\ohe Y buttons as you woul\od use the 
    ◄ and ► buttons on the remote control.
    zChan\bes the channel\os. In the OSD, use\o the z buttons as you woul\od use the 
    ▼ and ▲ buttons on the remote control.
    P (Power) Turns the TV on or o\f\f.
    Speakers -
    Standby	mode
    Do not leave your TV\o in standby mode \for\o lon\b periods o\f time \o(when you are away on a holiday,\o \for example). A sm\oall amount 
    o\f electric power is s\otill consumed even w\ohen the power butto\on is turned o\f\f. It is best to unp\olu\b the power cord.

    Connecting to an A\hntenna
    When the TV is initi\oally powered on, basic settin\bs\o proceed automatically.
     ✎Preset: Connectin\b the mains and antenna. 
    Plug & Play (\fnitial\h Setup)
    When the TV is initi\oally powered on, a sequence o\f\o on-screen prompts will assist in\o confi\burin\b basic sett\oin\bs. Press the 
    POWERP button. Plug	&	Play is available only w\ohen the Input Source is set to TV.
     ✎Be\fore turnin\b on the T V, make sure the antenna cable is connected.
     ✎To return to the previous step, press the Red button.
    1Selectin\b a lan\bua\bePress the ▲ or ▼ button, then press the E\bTERE button.
    Select the desired OSD (On Screen Display) lan\bua\o\be.

    or Home	UsePress the ◄ or ► button, then press the E\bTERE button.
     y Select the Home	Use mode. Store	Demo Mode is \for retail 
    environments.
     y To return the unit’s settin\bs \from Store	Demo to Home	Use 
    (standard): Press the volume butt\oon on the TV. When you see the \o
    volume OSD, press and hold ME\bU \for 5 sec.
     yStore	Demo is only \for shop dis\oplay. I\f you select \oit, several 
    \functions are not able to use. \oPlease select Home	Use when you 
    watch at home.
    3Selectin\b a country Press the u or d button, then press the E\bTERE button. Select the\o appropriate 
    country.
     ✎A\fter selectin\b the country in the Countr y menu, some models may proceed with an 
    additional option to setup the pin number. When you input the PIN number, “0-0-0-0” 
    is not available.
    4Settin\b the  Clock	ModeSet the Clock	Mode automatically or ma\onually.
    5Selectin\b an antenna\o Press the ▲ or ▼ button, then press the E\bTERE button.
    Select the Antenna source to memorise.
    6Selectin\b a channel Press the ▲ or ▼ button, then press the E\bTERE button.
    Select the channel \osource to memorise. When\o settin\b the antenn\oa source to Cable, a step 
    appears allowin\b you\o to assi\bn numerical \ovalues (channel \frequencies) to the ch\oannels. For 
    more in\formation, re\fer to Channel → 
    Auto	Tuning (p. 24).
    7Enjoy	your	TV.	Press the E\bTERE button.
    If	You	Want	to	Reset	This	Feature...
    Select System	\f	Plug	&	Play (Initial Setup). E\onter your 4 di\bit PI\oN number. The de\fault PIN n\oumber is “0-0-0-0”
    (France: “1-1-1-1”)\o. I\f you want to cha\on\be the PIN number, use the Change	PI\b \function. 
    You should do Plug	&	Play (ME\bU → System) a\bain at home alth\oou\bh you did in shop.\o
     ✎I\f you \for\bet the PIN code, press the remote control buttons in the \followin\b sequence in Standby mode, which resets 
    the PIN to “0-0-0-0”(France: “1-1-1-1”):  POWER (o\f\f) → MUTE → 8 → 2 → 4 → POWER (on).

    Connecting to an A\hV Device
    Using	an	HDMI	or	an	HDMI	to	DVI	cable	(up	to	1080p)
    Available devices: DV\oD, Blu-ray player, HD cable box, HD \oSTB (Set-Top-Box) satellite receiver, VCR
     ✎HDMI	I\b	1(DVI),	2	/	PC/DVI	AUDIO	I\b
     xFor better picture and audio quality, connect to a di\bital device usin\b an HDMI cable. 
     xAn HDMI cable supports di\bital video and audio si\bnals, and does not require an audio cable. 
     –To connect the TV to a\o di\bital device that \odoes not support HDM\oI output, use an HD\oMI/DVI and audio cabl\oes. 
     xThe picture may not display normally (i\f at all) or the audio may not work i\f an external device that uses an older 
    version o\f HDMI mode is connected to the T V. I\f such a problem occurs, ask the manu\facturer o\f the external 
    device about the HDMI version and, i\f out o\f date, request an up\brade.
     xBe sure to purchase a certi\fied HDMI cable. Otherwise, the picture may not display or a connection error may 
    occur.
     xA basic hi\bh-speed HDMI cable or one with ethernet is recommended. This product does not support the ethernet 
    \function via HDMI.

    Using	a	Component	(up	to	1080p)	or	an	Audio/Video	(480i	only)	and	a	Scart	Cable

     ✎In Ext. mode, DT V Out supports MPEG SD Video and Audio only.

    Connecting to a CO\hMMON \fNTERFACE slot
    Attaching	the	CI	Card	Adapter
    Attach the adapter \oas shown below.
    To connect the CI CAR\oD Adapter, \follow these steps\o.
     ✎We recommend attachin\b the adapter be\fore installin\b the wall mount, or 
    insertin\b the “CI or CI+ CARD.”
    1.	 Insert the CI CARD\o Adapter into the t\owo holes on the product 1.
     ✎Please \find a two holes on the rear o\f the T V. A two holes is beside the COMMO\b	I\bTERFACE port.
    2.	 Connect the CI CARD\o Adapter into the 
    COMMO\b	I\bTERFACE port on the 
    product 2.
    3.		Insert the “CI or C\oI+ CARD”.
    We recommand that you in\osert the CI card be\fore you mount the TV \oon a wall.
    It may be di\fficult to insert a\fte\or the mountin\b.
    Insert the card a\fter attachin\b th\oe CI CARD Adapter, on TV.
    It is di\fficult to attach the \omodule i\f you insert \othe card be\fore attachin\b.
    Using	the	“CI	or	CI+	CARD”
    To watch paid channel\os, the “CI or CI+ C\oARD” must be insert\oed.
     y I\f you don’t insert the “CI or\o CI+ CARD,” some ch\oannels will display\o the messa\be “Scram\obled Si\bnal”.
     yThe pairin\b in\formatio\on containin\b a teleph\oone number, the “CI or CI+ CA\oRD” ID the Host ID \oand other in\formation\o will 
    be displayed in abou\ot 2~3 minutes. I\f a\on error messa\be is displa\oyed, please 
    contact your service \oprovider.
     yWhen the confi\buration\o o\f channel in\formatio\on has finished, the \omessa\be 
    “Updatin\b Completed”\o is displayed, indica\otin\b the channel lis\ot is updated.
     ✎\bOTE
     xYou must obtain a “CI or CI+ CARD” \from a local cable service provider.
     xWhen removin\b the “CI or CI+ CARD”, care\fully pull it out with your hands 
    since droppin\b the “CI or CI+ CARD” may cause dama\be to it.
     xInsert the “CI or CI+ CARD” in the direction marked on the card.
     xThe location o\f the COMMO\b	I\bTERFACE slot may be di\f\ferent 
    dependin\b on the model.
     x“CI or CI+ CARD” is not supported in some countries and re\bions; check with your authorized dealer.
     xI\f you have any problems, please contact a service provider.
     xInsert the “CI or CI+ CARD” that supports the current antenna settin\bs. The screen will be distorted or will not be 
    seen.

    Connecting to an A\hu\bio Device
    Using	an	Optical	(Digital)	or	a	Headphone	Connection
    Available devices: di\o\bital audio system, \oamplifier, DVD home theatre, PC
     ✎DIGITAL	AUDIO	OUT	(OPTICAL)
     xWhen a Di\bital Audio System is connected to the DIGITAL	AUDIO	OUT	(OPTICAL) jack, decrease the volume o\f 
    both the T V and the system. 
     x5.1 CH (channel) audio is available when the T V is connected to an external device supportin\b 5.1 CH.
     xWhen the receiver (home theatre) is set to on, you can hear sound output \from the T V’s optical jack. When the T V 
    is receivin\b a DT V si\bnal, the T V will send 5.1 CH sound to the home theatre receiver. When the source is a di\bital 
    component such as a DVD / Blu-ray player / cable box / STB (Set-Top-Box) satellite receiver and is connected to 
    the T V via HDMI, only 2 CH audio will be heard \from the home theatre receiver. I\f you want to hear 5.1 CH audio, 
    connect the di\bital audio out jack \from your DVD / Blu-ray player / cable box / STB satellite receiver directly to an 
    ampli\fier or home theatre.
     ✎Headphones H: You can connect your headphones to the headphones output on your set. While the headphones 
    are connected, the sound \from the built-in speakers will be disabled.
     xSound \function may be restricted when  connectin\b headphones to the T V.
     xHeadphone volume and T V volume are adjusted separately.
