Install the SIM or USIM card and battery When you subscribe to a cellular service, you will receive a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card, with subscription details, such as your personal identification number (PIN) and optional services. To use UMTS or HSDPA services, you can purchase a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) card .
Assembling10 Place the SIM or USIM card into the device with • the gold-coloured contacts facing down. If you do not insert a SIM or USIM card, you can • only use your device’s non-network services and some menus. Insert the battery. 3 Replace the back cover.4 To install the SIM or USIM card and battery, Remove the back cover. 1 Insert the SIM or USIM card.2
