6 Activating your Phone If you purchased your phone at a Verizon Wireless store, it is activated and ready to use. Getting Started 7 Batter y Cover The battery cover on the back of the phone protects the battery. Removing the batter y cover 1.Hold the phone firmly and locate the Cover Release Latch. 2.Firmly “pop” the cover off the phone.
