Before You Begin 26 Charging the Battery Charge the rechargeable battery (DB-65) using the included USB cable and USB power adapter (AC-U1) with included Power plug before use. 1 Insert the Power plug to the USB power adapter. Before You Begin 28 Turning the Camera On and Off Press the POWER button to turn the camera on. The POWER button lights, and then the auto fo- cus/flash lamp blinks for several seconds. When the POWER button is pressed again, the power turns off. (If the date is not set, [0] is dis- played.)
