10 Connecting to the computer• Connect the player to your computer with the USB cable provided. The player will turn on automatically. • The player will be connected in MSC (Mass Storage Class) mode. 11 Managing files on your RCA Player Before you begin using your RCA player, you’ll want to copy your media files to the player. You can use any of the following methods to transfer content: • RCA easyRip • Drag and drop files using Windows Explorer • Software provided by online music stores The player must be in MTP mode for subscription content transfer. Using Windows ExplorerTo copy files in MSC mode: 1. Open the player in Windows Explorer. 2. Drag and drop music files into the Music folder and picture files into the Photo folder. 14 Menu typesThe player has two menu types: Player menu The player menu appears when you turn on the player or if you press and hold while listening to the player. 16 The Home menuThe top-level or “Home” menu is always displayed when you press and hold . 17 Playing music filesThe player sorts your music files by track name (title), artist, album and genre. 1. In the Home menu, press + or – and or to navigate to Music. 2. Press to enter Music mode. 3.
