15 Hardware Installation After unpacking the NAS, first follow these instructions to install your hardware: 1. Install the hard drives. Before doing so, ensure the hard drives (HDDs) that you use are compatible with the NAS. Go to the Hard Disk Drive Compatibility List section for more details. 2.
