15 Navigate through the menu 1 Point the remote control directly at the remote sensor on the Home Theater System and select the desired function. 2 Press the following buttons on the remote control to navigate through the on-screen menus. Turn on Progressive Scan If the TV suppor ts progressive scan output, you can connect this Home Theater System and the TV using component video connection. 18 One-touch standby When you connect your product to devices that suppor t one-touch standby, you can use your product remote control to switch your product and all connected HDMI devices to standby mode. You can per form one-touch standby using the remote control from any of the connected HDMI devices. System audio control When you connect your product to HDMI CEC compliant devices, your product can switch automatically to play audio from the connected device. To use one-touch audio, you must map the audio input from the connected device to your product. You can use the remote control from the connected device to adjust the volume. Audio Input Mapping When you map the audio input correctly, this Home Theater System switches to the audio from the played device automatically. Map the devices to the audio inputs Note Before you star t, ensure that the audio output •of the HDMI T V and other HDMI devices have been connected to the audio input jacks on this Home Theater System. 20 Play video Note For video disc, playback always resumes from •the point where it was last stopped. To star t play from the beginning, press while the message is displayed. Control video play 1 Play a title. 2 Use the remote control to control the title. Button Action Star ts, pauses or resumes playback. Stops play. Skips to the nex t title or chapter. Skips to the beginning of the current title or chapter. Press twice to jump to the previous title or chapter. / Searches fast-for ward (right) or fast-back ward (lef t). Press repeatedly to change the search speed. In pause mode, slow motion • back ward or for ward play. / Searches slow-for ward (down) or slow-back ward (up). Press repeatedly to change the search speed. For VCD, only slow-for ward • play is possible. 5 Play Play a disc Caution Never place any objects other than discs into •the disc compar tment. Never touch the disc optical lens inside the •disc compar tment. 1 Press to open the disc compar tment. 2 Inser t a disc with its label facing up. For double-sided disc, load the side • to play faces up. 3 Press to close the disc compar tment and star t disc play. To view disc play, turn on the T V to • the correct viewing channel for this Home Theater System. To stop disc play, press • . Note Check the types of discs suppor ted.
