9 Place the product Place the product where it cannot be pushed, pulled over or knocked down. Do not place it in an enclosed cabinet. Be sure that you have full access to the power cord for easy disconnection of the product from the power supply. 1 Place the home theater near your T V. 2 Place the speakers system at normal listening height and parallel to your listening area. 3 Place the subwoofer in the corner of the room or at least 1 meter/3 feet away from your T V. Tip To reduce inter ference or noise, place the home theater away from radiation devices. Connect video cables Connect this Home Theater System to TV to view disc play. Select the best video connection that the TV can suppor t. Option 1: Connect to the SCART jack (for a standard T V ). Option 2: Connect to the VIDEO jack (for a standard T V ). 10 1 Connect a composite video cable to the VIDEO jack on this Home Theater System and the VIDEO input jack on the TV. Note The video input jack on the T V might be labeled as A / V IN, VIDEO IN, COMPOSITE or BASEBAND. This type of connection provides standard picture quality. Connect speakers and subwoofer 1 Connect the speakers and subwoofer to the matching jacks on this Home Theater System. Note Ensure that the colors of the plugs and jacks are matched. Note You must connect this Home Theater System directly to a T V. Option1: Connect to the SCART jack 1 Connect a scar t cable (not supplied) to the SCART TO TV jack on this Home Theater System and the SCART input jack on the T V. Note Scar t connection allows T V ’s audio output through the speakers. Press AUDIO SOURCE repeatedly until ‘SCART IN’ is displayed on the display panel.
