7.3 Connect your devices 
The connections shown in this section are
recommendations for the most used cases. Other
solutions are possible.
When a device is connected the TV needs to know
what connection you made. See section 7.5 Setup
devices.
7.3.1 Blu-ray Disc player
For full high-definition video, connect a HDMI cable
as illustrated:

7.3.8 Game console or camcorder
The most practical connection for a mobile
game console or camcorder may be at the side
of the TV. You can, for example, connect the
game console or camcorder to VIDEO/S-Video
and AUDIO L/R connnectors at the side of
the TV. A HDMI connector is also available for
high-definition devices.
A permanent game console or camcorder can
be connected to a HDMI connector or EXT 3
(component) connectors at the back of the TV.

Television and remote control
The TV does not switch on
•Verify the mains cord connection.
•Verify if the batteries of the remote control are
flat or weak. Verify their + / - orientation.
You can use the keys on the TV to switch the TV
on.
•Unplug the mains cord, wait for one minute and
plug in the mains again.
The TV does not react on the remote control
•Verify if the batteries of the remote control are
not empty or weak. Verify their + / - orientation....
