Using Special Features During a Web Call
Your phone gives you the ability to use special features while
you’re on a Web call. They are outlined below:
Call Waiting:If someone tries to reach you while you’re
connected to the Web, your phone behaves like it is turned
OFF. Depending on your service, callers may get your
voicemail. Call Waiting is automatically deactivated whenever
you place or receive a Web connection call.

Displaying Messages
To display a Message from the message notification alert, see
“New Messages” on page 168.
To display a Message from the main menu:
1.Press  to access the main menu.
2.Highlight Messagingand press  .
3.Highlight Notificationsand press  (the folder list appears).
4.Highlight Unfiledor your defined folder and press  .
5.Highlight the header of the message you want to see and 
press  .

Creating Folders for Messages
You can create up to ten folders to store your Messages. If 10
user defined folders exist, “Create Folder” menu diappears.
1.Press  to access the main menu.
2.Highlight Messagingand press  .
3.Highlight Notificationsand press  (the folder list appears).
4.From the folder list display, press  (right softkey).
5.Highlight Create Folderand press  .
6.Enter a folder name from 3 to 13 letters and press  or

Editing Folders
To edit a folder:
1.From the folder list display, highlight your desired folder
except for Unfiled.
2.Press  (right softkey).
3.Highlight Edit Folderand press  .
4.Select the box under your desired option to edit, and 
press  .
Folder Nameto edit the folder name.
Auto Filingto set auto filing to on or off.
Keywordto change the folder’s keyword. Incoming messages
are automatically filtered into the folder if they contain the
Keyword you enter.

Using Short Mail
With Short Mail, you can use a person’s wireless phone 
number to send instant text messages from your Vision-enabled
PCS Phone to their messaging-ready phone – and they can send
messages to you. When you receive a new message, you’ll
automatically be notified with a one-way text message.
In addition, Short Mail includes a variety of pre-set messages,
such as “I’m running late, I’m on my way,” that make composing

Using PCS Mail
With PCS Mail, you can set up an account at no additional charge
and perform many of the typical email functions from your 
PCS Phone that you can from your personal computer.
You can manage your PCS Mail Account from your PCS Phone or
from your personal computer at 
www.sprintpcs.com. You can also
access other select email providers from the Web.

Pictures
Your phone gives you the ability to capture images, view images
using the phone’s display, and instantly send images to your
friends and family. It’s as easy to use as a traditional point-and-
click camera. Besides sending your pictures to friends and
family, you can also send them to a Pictures Web site for storage,
upload them to a personal Web site. Cameras can take and store
images. This service requires a special camera phone. See your

Downloading an Item
Once you’ve decided on an item to download, highlight it and
press  or  (left softkey). You will see a summary page for
the item including its title, the vendor, the download detail, the
file size, and the cost. Links allow you to view the License Details
page, which outlines the price, license type, and length of
license for the download, and the Terms of Usepage, which
details the Premium Services Terms of Use and your
responsibility for payment.

To play a downloaded game on your PCS Phone:
