The wireless system will automatically seek a clear channel if any of these other devices interfere with its communication. When this happens, the wireless link indicator (“ [W1] ” or an indicator) flashes on the home theater unit, and there is a brief interruption in audio coming from the surround speakers. This is the normal operation of the product working to assure the best possible performance of your home theater unit. If the interference persists, try moving the other devices to another location outside the range of the wireless system, or move the wireless system nearer to your home theater unit. To save power when the unit is not to be used for a long time, unplug it from the household AC outlet. Making the wireless link 1 Turn on the wireless system. 2 Turn on your home theater unit and check the wireless link indicator on the home theater unit. 3 Start play on the home theater unit. AU TO OPERATION ON/OFF POWER Unit on/off button [POWER CI,BÍ] Use this button to turn the unit on and off. CI: The unit is on.BÍ: The unit is off. AUTO OPERATION ON/OFF indicator The indicator lights red when the unit is turned on and lights green when the wireless link is activated. When the wireless link is inactive for a long time, it turns red.LPST CT RDS RND PGMEQ PRG SRDE. By pairing, you can enjoy the benefits of both systems working together simultaneously. Preparation ≥Use the SH-FX85T transmitter card for pairing. Store your SH-FX67T transmitter card in a cool dry place for later use. ≥Make sure that the speaker and AC cord connections are completed, and the surround selector is set to the “SURR” position (➜ page 7). ≥Turn on the home theater unit and SH-FX85, and then reduce the volume. 1 Turn on SE-FX67. 2 While pressing the skip and slow-search button (e.g. [9/5]) on the home theater unit, press the numbered button [3] on the remote control until “P” lights in the home theater unit’s display. ≥The indicator on SE-FX67 turns green. 3 While “P” is displayed, press [I/D SET] on the rear of SE-FX67. ≥If “P” goes off before you press [I/D SET], repeat step 2 and then continue the procedure. 4 While pressing [9/5] on the home theater unit, press the numbered button [3] on the remote control. ≥“ [W1] ” or the wireless link indicator lights on the home theater unit. 5 Turn off and on SE-FX67. ≥Make sure the indicator on SE-FX67 lights up green. [Note[Repeat the above steps if you should use SH-FX67T transmitter card (the link with SH-FX85 will be disconnected). Use a pointed object. 9Setup9RQTX0125 ENGLISH [Compatible model: e.g. SC-BT100] To activate the additional SH-FX67 for 7.1ch-setup, it is necessary to be paired to work with the other SH-FX67. ≥Keep the transmitter cards of the additional wireless system for later use.Preparation ≥Make sure to connect the AC power supply cord of the additional wireless system. ≥Turn on the home theater unit and reduce the volume. 1 Turn on the additional wireless system. 2 While pressing the skip and slow-search button (e.g. [9/5] ) on the home theater unit, press the numbered button [3] on the remote control until “P” lights in the home theater unit’s display. ≥The indicator on the additional wireless system turns green. 3 While “P” is displayed, press [I/D SET] on the rear of the additional wireless system. ≥If “P” goes off before you press [I/D SET], repeat step 2 and then continue the procedure. 4 While pressing [9/5] on the home theater unit, press the numbered button [3] on the remote control. 5 Turn off and on the additional wireless system. ≥Make sure the indicator on the additional wireless system lights up green. 10 Product service / Maintenance / Troubleshooting guide10RQTX0125 ENGLISHProduct service1 Damage requiring service— The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel if: (a) The AC power supply cord or AC adaptor has been damaged; or (b) Objects or liquids have gotten into the unit; or (c) The unit has been exposed to rain; or (d) The unit does not operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance; or (e) The unit has been dropped or the cabinet damaged. 2 Servicing — Do not attempt to service the unit beyond that described in these operating instructions. Refer all other servicing to authorized servicing personnel. 3 Replacement parts — When parts need replacing ensure the servicer uses parts specified by the manufacturer or parts that have the same characteristics as the original parts. Unauthorized substitutes may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards. 4 Safety check — After repairs or service, ask the servicer to perform safety checks to confirm that the unit is in proper working condition. The servicer will require all components to service your system. Therefore, should service ever be necessary, be sure to bring the entire system. The wireless link indicator (e.g. “ [W1] ” or an indicator) does not light. ≥ Check that the home theater unit is turned on, and the wireless system is turned on. ≥ Ensure that the digital transmitter is fully inserted into the slot of the home theater unit.
