Service Modes (For Copier) These Service Modes are provided to assist the technician in checking for abnormalities in the copier and a means of making adjustments to the Input/Output of major components. Caution: The factory default parameters are preset (country dependent) for optimum performance and in compliance with the local telecommunication regulations/standards, and do not need to be changed. Changing some of these parameters may cause the unit to be no longer compliant or become inoperable. 4.1.1. Service Mode Procedure 1. To select the Service Mode The service mode is selected when “FUNCTION”, “ORIGINAL SIZE” and “3” keys are sequentially pressed, then F1 will appear in the display. 2. To exit the Service Mode The service mode is reset when the “FUNCTION” and “CLEAR” keys are pressed sequentially. 4.1.2.
