Constructing a Folder when 
the Memor y Card is used 
with a PC
When a Memory Card with data recorded by the SD 
Video Camera is inserted into a personal computer, 
folders will be displayed as in the figure. (When a file 
name and a folder name are changed using the 
Explorer etc. on personal computers, there is a case 
where it becomes impossible for the SD Video Camera 
to read data on this Memory Card.)
≥Use the SD-MovieStage Ver.2.5 for operating files in 
the Memory Card.

Charge the Built-in Batter y 
for Maintaining the Date 
Infor mation
There is a built-in battery which is used to save the 
memory of date and time. If [PRESS MENU TO SET 
CLOCK] is displayed when the power is on, the built-in 
battery may be exhausted. Charge using the following 
procedure:
1Plug in the AC adaptor. (l10)
2Turn the power off and leave the SD Video 
Camera as it is for approx. 12 hours.

ªAbout the SD Video Camera
Keep this unit away from magnetized 
equipment (such as a microwave oven, 
TV, video game equipment, etc.).
≥If you use this unit on or near a TV, images 
and sounds may be disturbed due to 
electromagnetic wave radiation.
≥Do not use near a cell phone because 
doing so may cause noise to adversely 
affect the picture and sound.
≥Recorded data may be damaged, or 
images may be distorted by strong 
magnetic fields created by speakers or

generate whirring sounds. This is normal.
≥After use, be sure to disconnect the AC

≥In a place with drastic temperature 
changes, condensation may form on the 
LCD monitor. Wipe it with the cleaning 
cloth (supplied).
≥Do not push the LCD monitor forcefully. It 
may cause unevenness and malfunctions

≥When the lens is aimed at a subject with 
high contrast, the picture may look uneven
