Please read the included Important Information and Installation Guide before following the procedures in this document.
    Description
You can record camera images to an SD memory card without connecting the
camera to a network and without configuring the camera using a PC. 6 pre-
programmed image recording triggers are available, allowing you to choose the
conditions during which images will be recorded. You can view recorded images
by removing the SD memory card from the camera and accessing it with a PC.
In order to adjust the camera’s pan, tilt, zoom, etc., you must access the camera
    with a PC.
    Note
    • For information on camera software and model requirements for using this
feature, see the Panasonic Network Camera support site
    (http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/products/en/netwkcam/support/info.html).
    • If the camera supports audio features, audio can be recorded when recording
    MPEG-4 images.
    • To pan or tilt the camera lens, configure the camera for ceiling installation, or
otherwise change camera settings, you must access the camera with a PC.
See the Setup Guide and Operating Instructions for connection and
    operation information.
    Preparation
    SD Memory Card
In order to use this feature, the SD memory card must be either:

    Playback Software
To view recorded JPEG images on a PC, Network Camera SD Viewer must be
installed on the PC. This software can be found on the included CD-ROM, and
can be installed by following the instructions in the “Read Me” file (CD-ROM
Drive:\NCV\SDVIEWER_README.txt). You can also download this software
from the Panasonic Network Camera website

While recording, the camera indicator lights orange or flashes
    orange.
If the camera indicator lights red, images cannot be recorded. In this
    case, confirm the following.
    • The SD memory card is not write-protected
    • The SD memory card has been formatted using the camera or
the SD Memory Card Formatting Software
If the camera indicator still lights red, the SD memory card may be
    damaged.

selecting the desired trigger, this feature will not be activated.
    Repeat from step 1.
    • When the SD memory card is inserted while using this feature,

direction), connect an external video device, such as a TV, to the
camera. Refer to the Installation Guide for more information.
You may also connect the camera to a network and configure the
