    1. Do not install the projector in locations that are subject to e\fcessive water, hu\bidity, stea\b or oily s\boke. Doing so \bay result in fire, \bal -
    function or electric shock.
    2. The projector uses a high-voltage \bercury la\bp that contains high internal pressure. This la\bp \bay break, e\bitting a large sound, or fail to
    illu\binate, due to i\bpact or e\ftended use.
    3. The projector uses a high-wattage la\bp that beco\bes very hot during operation. Please observe the following precautions:
    • Never place objects on top of the projector while it is in operation.
    • Make sure there is an unobstructed space of 500 \b\b (19-11/16 in) or \bore around the projector’s e\fhaust openings.
    • Do not stack projector units directly on top of one another for the purpose of \bultiple (stacked) projection.
When stacking projector units, be sure to provide the a\bount of space indicated between the\b. These space require\bents also apply to
installation where only one projector unit is operating at one ti\be and the other unit is used as a backup.
    • If the projector is placed in a bo\f or enclosure, the te\bperature of the air surrounding the projector \bust be between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C
(104°F). Also, \bake sure the projector’s intake and e\fhaust openings are not blocked. Take particular care to ensure that hot air fro\b the
e\fhaust openings is not sucked into the intake.
    4. The la\bp replace\bent cycle duration beco\bes shorter if the projector is operated repeatedly for short periods.
    • The length of ti\be that it takes for the la\bp to break or fail to illu\binate varies greatly depending on individual la\bp characteristics and
    usage conditions.
    • The brightness of the la\bp will gradually decrease with use.
    5. Due to natural characteristics of la\bps, screen brightness \bay vary (flicker). This is not an indication of faulty la\bp perfor\bance.
