Numbered buttons TV/VIDEO button Press to change the input mode. R-TUNE button Switches to previously viewed channel or video mode.MUTE button Press to mute the sound. Press again to cancel mute. 16 Tuning Channels Automatically scans and stores all the TV channels. Notes: • When any button is pressed during AUTO PROGRAM, the TV will return to the normal viewing. (Channels searched up to the point are added.) • After AUTO PROGRAM finishes, the lowest channel number added will be displayed. • When there are no receivable channels, channel 69 (for TV) or channel 125 (for cable TV) is displayed.Press to select PROGRAM CH. 18 In the United States, the V-CHIP consists of two rating systems, which are MPAA (MOTION PICTURE) and TV PARENTAL GUIDELINES. Its function is to block programs by the rating data in the XDS data packets sent from broadcasting stations. The user can select which rating programs should be blocked by the LOCK MENU options.
