Connections C o nnect the handset cord ( A) to the handset and the unit. Connect the telephone line cord until it clicks into the unit and telephone line jack ( B). After line connection, lift the handset to check for a dial tone. R Use only a Panasonic handset for KX-TS840. R U se only the supplied telephone line cord. Making calls 1 Li ft the handset and dial the phone number. 2 When you finish talking, place the handset on the cradle. Using the speakerphone 1 MS P -PHONE N R Status indicator light will turn ON. 2 Dial a phone number. RSpeak alternately with the other party.
