Recording in dark locations (Night Mode)
You can record brighter images in dark locations using an infrared (IR) light (commercially 
available).
Preparation:
Turn off this unit. ( l15)
1Rotate the glasscover (normal shooting)  1 in 
the direction of the arrow to remove it.
2Rotate the supplied glasscover (night mode)  2 
in the direction of the arrow to attach it.
≥ Tighten it firmly to ensure that it is not loose.
≥ The glasscover (night mode) is labelled with the   mark.

You can switch the image quality of the motion pictures you record. Available [Pixels / Frame rate] 
differs depending on the [Recording Mode] setting.
≥ When [Recording Mode] is set to [Normal Shooting] ( l32):
The greater the number is, the higher the image quality is. How ever, the file size also becomes 
greater. ( l52)
≥ When [Recording Mode] is set to [Slow Motion] ( l32):
You can start recording a motion picture approximately 3 seconds  after pressing the recording start/
stop button.

Playback using a smartphone

To delete motion pictures/still pictures stored in this unit or  to copy 
them to the smartphone
Delete or copy using ["Picture Share" Settings].
Touch and hold the thumbnail of the file you want to delete or  copy, and drag and drop it into the 
picture jump tab [Trash (Delete)] or [Save to smartPH].

When this unit and a video camera are connected via Wi-Fi, you can display this unit’s image on the 
Main Camera’s Sub Window and record it simultaneously with the  Main Camera’s image. (Wireless

When connecting to the Main Camera for the first time:
The Wi-Fi lamp flashes (green) fast. When the connection is complete, the Wi-Fi lamp will light 
green and you will hear an alert sound.
≥ Main Camera information (SSID, etc.) will be saved to this unit .
When connecting for the second time or later:
The Wi-Fi lamp will flash green, and this unit will connect to  the Main Camera using the Main 
Camera information that was saved to it.

When you connect this unit to a PC, the PC starts charging the  battery.
