Messages Menu 41 MESSAGES MENU SMS: Short Message Service allows you to send and receive text messages to mobile phones on the same network or any network that has a roaming agreement. MMS: Multimedia Messaging Service allows you to attach images and music to text messages. The recipient can play it as a slide show (multimedia). MMS messages can be sent to another mobile phone with MMS capability or to an e-mail address. e-mail: Create and send an e-mail message. A message is sent as a single message, but may be received as up to 3 messages (depending on the recipient’s phone settings). When you receive an SMS message, the message indicator ( ) displays, along with an audible tone or vibration. When Read displays, press to read the message. Scroll up and down to view the message.
