63English Power on screen delay You can set the power-on delay time of the displays to reduce the power load, when you press to turn on the multiple displays that are set together. Set each display’s setting individually. [Off]:The display will be turned on at the same time as is pressed. [AUTO]:Sets the delay time automatically according to the number set for [Display ID]. The delay time is determined by multiplying [Display ID] x 0.3.seconds. HJ:KHQ>LVSOD\,@LV:VHFRQGV [1 to 30]:Set the power-on delay time (second). After pressing , the display will be powered on with time delay depending on this setting. Note ”During this function is working, the power indicator is blinking green. ”This function also works when the power recovers from failure or after plugging off and in again the power cord. Clock display Sets to display / hide the clock. [Off]:Hides the clock. [On]:Displays the clock. Note ”The clock is displayed at the lower left of the screen when button is pressed. ”When [Date and time] is not set, the clock is not displayed even when [Clock display] is [On]. English64 Using Network Function This unit has a network function and you can control the Display connected to the network using your computer. Necessary environment for computers to be connected First of all, confirm your computer whether it has a wired LAN or a built-in wireless LAN. Before connecting the Display to the computer, be sure to check the following settings. Check 1: About LAN cable ”Is the cable connected properly? ”To connect a device using 100BASE-TX, use LAN cable that is compatible with category 5 or above. Check 2: LAN settings Computer with a built-in LAN function ”Is your LAN switched on? Computer without a built-in LAN function ”Is your LAN adapter recognized properly? ”Is your LAN adapter switched on? ”Install the LAN adapter driver beforehand. 67English Using Web Browser Control You can use a Web browser to control the unit and set up a network and password. Before Using Web Browser Control To use the Web browser control, the unit and computer set ups are required. vAbout Web BrowserSet each item in [Network settings] and be sure to set [Network control] to [On]. (see page 55) vComputer SetupDisable the proxy server settings and enable JavaScript. ”The setting procedure differs depending on the software version. Please refer to description in HELP, etc. of the software. (Windows) Windows 7 is used as an example. Disable proxy server settings 1 Display [Internet Properties] window. Click [Start] - [Control Panel] - [Network and Internet] - [Internet Options]. ”If the on screen display looks different, please set [View by:] to [Category]. 2 Click the [Connections] tab and then [LAN Settings]. 3 Deselect the [Use automatic configuration script] and [Use a proxy server for your LAN] boxes. 4 Click [OK]. Enable JavaScript 1 Display [Internet Properties] window. Click [Start] - [Control Panel] - [Network and Internet] - [Internet Options]. ”If the on screen display looks different, please set [View by:] to [Category]. 2 Set the security level on the [Security] tab to [Default Level]. Alternatively enable [Active scripting] from the [Custom Level] button. (Macintosh) Disable proxy server settings 1 From the [Safari] menu, click [Preferences]. General screen is displayed. 2 From the [Advanced] tab, click the [Change Settings…] button next to [Proxies]. Click [Proxies] and set up a proxy server. 3 Deselect the [Web Proxy] and [Automatic Proxy Configuration] boxes. 4 Click [Apply Now]. Enable JavaScript 1 Display [Security] of Safari. 2 Select [Enable JavaScript] under [Web content]. Access from Web Browser Access to the TOP screen of the Web browser control using a Web browser. 1Start your Web browser. 2Enter the IP address set with the [LAN setup] of the unit. (see page 55) 3Enter the user name and password when the Authentication screen is displayed. 4Click [OK]. After logged in, the TOP screen of the Web Browser Control is displayed. (see page 68) Note ”The password used here is the same password used for command control and the PJLink security authentication. ”Default user name and password are as follows: User name: user1 (User rights), admin1 (administrator rights) Password: panasonic Change password first. ”The password can be changed on the Password Setup screen after logging in (see page 69). Log in with administer privileges to change this. ”When using “Crestron Connected™” (see page 71), log in with the administrator rights. ”Under no circumstances, Panasonic Corporation or its associated companies will ask customers their password directly. Even if you are asked directly, please do not reveal your password.
