21 RQT6750 Disc operations Playing the programs or play lists on DVD-RAM [RAM] Use the program list to find programs to play. 1Press [DIRECT NAVIGATOR]. 2Press [3, 4] to select the program. The selected program plays in the background. ≥You can select programs with the numbered buttons. To select a 2-digit number Example 23: [S10] ➡ [2] ➡ [3] 3Press [ENTER]. These menus allow you to perform operations by changing this information. 1Press [DISPLAY]. Normal play is also restored when you return the speed to k1.0 and clear the progress indicator. Each time you press the button: DVD/CD>FM>AM>TV>VCR>AU X>DIGITAL IN ([HT900]) ^----------------------------------------------------------------------------} ≥Remote control: Press [TUNER/BAND]. 2Press [TUNE MODE] to select “MANUAL”. Each time you press the button: MANUAL()PRESET 3Press [X TUNING] or [TUNING W] to select the frequency of the required station. ≥Remote control: Press [6] or [5]. TUNED: Displayed when a radio station is tuned. ST: Displayed when a stereo FM broadcast is being received. Press and hold [XTUNING] or [TUNINGW] until the frequency starts scrolling to start automatic tuning. Tuning stops when a station is found. 4Adjust the volume. ∫If noise is excessive in FMPress [FM MODE] to display “MONO”. Press [FM MODE] again to cancel the mode. The mode is also canceled when you changed the frequency. ∫Allocation settingsEach country allocates broadcast bands according to their particular system. The step is factory-set to 0.2 MHz, but you can change it to receive broadcasts allocated 0.1-MHz steps.[For\Latin\America] You can change the AM step. 28 RQT6750 Sound field/sound quality operations Sound field ≥Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Pro Logic II, Super Surround, Center Focus, Multi Rear Surround, Virtual Rear Surround, Seat Position, Dynamic range compression and Subwoofer Level adjusting (➡ page 31) cannot be used if headphones are connected (“ERROR” appears on the display, excluding Seat Position). ≥You may experience a reduction in sound quality when these sound field systems are used with some sources. If this occurs, turn the sound field system off. ≥Dolby Digital and DTS are digital encoding systems used on DVD to carry surround sound. Both were originally developed for use in cinemas. ≥This unit automatically recognizes and decodes these systems. Play a Dolby Digital or DTS source.
