    Using sound effects
    You can enhance low-frequency sound so that heavy bass sound can be 
    heard clearly, even if the acoustics of your room are not optimal. The unit 
    automatically selects the most suitable setting according to the type of 
    playback source.

    “MUSIC” is selected with Sound Field Control (➜page 30). In 
    this case, you can adjust both surround speaker levels at the

    You can use the remote control to operate a Panasonic television. 
    Connect your equipment referring to “Cable TV box or video cassette 
    recorder connection” (➜page 11).
    [Note]The remote control may not work properly with some models.
    Aim the remote control at the television.
    Turning the television on/offPress [ÍTV].
    Switching the television’s video input modePress [TV/VIDEO].
    Changing channelsPress [WCHX].
    ≥[S10] is used to confirm channel selection on some televisions 
    manufactured by other companies.

    To play audio from your television through your home theater 
    system
    Press [AUX] to select “AUX” as the source, reduce the volume on the 
    television to its minimum, and control the volume on the main unit.This remote control can also operate some other brands of televisions. 
    You can change the code to operate your television (➜below).
    Aim the remote control at the television.
    While pressing [ÍTV]
    Press the numbered buttons to enter the 4-digit code.
    The remote control outputs the on/off signal. If the code is correct, the 
    television turns on or off. If it does not, try entering another code.
    [Note]Reenter the codes after you change the batteries.

    Before requesting service, make the following checks. If you are in doubt about some of the check points, or if the solutions indicated in the chart do not 
    solve the problem, refer to “Product information” on page 15.
