This function detects a person’s face in the 
image area so that the focus can be 
adjusted properly. This is particularly 
effective in preventing errors such as when 
the focus is on the background when taking 
a commemorative photograph.

 The number of pictures indicated is when 
the shutter speed is faster than 1/60 and 
the flash is not activated.
 The burst speed (pictures/second) may 
become slower depending on the 
recording environment such as in dark 
places, if the ISO sensitivity is high etc.
 If you take pictures in burst mode with the 
built-in memory, it will take time to write 
the picture data.

Taking and viewing 
clipboard pictures 
(Clipboard mode)
This setting is useful when taking pictures 
of timetables, route maps or other 
information instead of taking notes. 
Regardless of whether a card is present 
or not, the data is stored in the 
dedicated clipboard folder of the built-in 
memory so it can be differentiated from the 
regular taken pictures and made available 
for immediate viewing.
