When the [CHARGE] indicator fl ashes
•  The battery temperature is excessively high or low. The charging time will be longer than  normal. Also, charging may not be completed.
•  The terminals of the charger or the battery are dirty. In this case, wipe them with a dry  cloth.
 Note
•  After charging is completed, be sure to disconnect the power supply device from the 
electrical outlet.
•  The battery becomes warm after using it, and while and after charging. The camera also  becomes warm...

then insert it again.

•  The clock is not set when the camera is shipped.

Changing the clock setting
1  Press [MENU/SET] in Normal Picture Mode.

r  to select [CLOCK SET].

•  You can also set the clock in the [SETUP] menu.
•  The clock setting is maintained for 3 months using the built-in clock battery even without  the battery. (Leave the charged battery in the unit for 24 hours to charge the built-in

Taking Pictures Using the Automatic Function
