    * Remove the batteries in the reverse order of installation.
    How to use the pen
While pressing the tip against a hard screen, the tip of the pen and the LED for the internal infrared ray will both
light. This is sensed by the infrared ray sensor on the front of the projector, and the location of the tip of the pen is
    detected.
    1) Press the power button to turn the power on.
    2) Place the tip of the pen anywhere on the screen.
    3) By pressing the tip against a hard screen, you can drag. In pen mode, you can draw lines.
    Attention
Since there is a touch sensor inside the tip of the pen, pushing or bending the tip will consume battery power . In order to z
prevent unnecessary battery consumption when not in use, press the power button to turn the power off. (Press the tip of
the pen to confirm that the LED does not light.)

    Screen size and throw distance
Place the projector referring to the diagram on the right and the figures of throwing distance. You can adjust the
    display size.
    Attention
Before installing, please read “Precautions for Use”. ( zÆ pages 11 to 15)

Do not use the projector and the high-powered laser equipment in the same room. Hitting of a laser beam on to the lens z
    can damage the DLP chips.

Calculation formulas for projection distance Q
Any other projection distance can be obtained according to the screen dimensions (m) using the following

error.) If the screen dimensions are written as "SD",
For 4*3 aspect ratioFor 16:9 aspect ratioFor 16*10 aspect ratio

And, hot air is expelled from the air exhaust port when the lamp is lighting. Do not touch there directly when adjusting the
    adjustable feet.
Do not stretch the adjustable feet more than the above mentioned length. Otherwise, the projector may be unstable or the z
    adjustable feet may fall off.

    							Connections
    26 - ENGLISH
    Getting Started
    Before connecting to the projector
Read carefully the instruction manual for the device to be connected. z
Turn off the power switch of the devices before connecting cables. z
If any connection cable is not supplied with the device, or if no option\
al cable is available for connection of the z
device, prepare a necessary system connection cable to suit the device.
Video signals containing too much jitter may cause the images on the scre\
en to randomly wobble or wafture. z
In this case, a time base corrector (TBC) must be connected.
The projector accepts the following signals: VIDEO, analogue-RGB (with TTL sync. Level) and digital signal. z
Some computer models are not compatible with the projector. z
When using long cables to connect with each of equipment to the projecto\
r, there is a possibility that the image z
will not be output correctly unless a compensator is used.
For details on what video signals the projector supports, see “List of compatible signals”. ( zÆpages 67-68)
    Attention
When connecting with a video deck, be sure to use the one with a built-in time base corrector (TBC) or use a TBC between z
the projector and the video deck.
If nonstandard burst signals are connected, the image may be distorted. If this is the case, connect a TBC between the z
    projector and the video deck.
    Note
Use an HDMI cable that conforms to HDMI standards such as an HDMI High Speed cable. If a cable that does not meet z
HDMI standards is used, video may be interrupted or may not be displayed.
When connecting the 1080p signal using HDMI, use a cable compliant with 1080p signal.
This projector does not support the VIERA Link (HDMI). z

    Connecting for the Interactive function
When using the interactive function, connect the computer to the interactive camera via the USB cable (supplied).
Fix the USB cable with the cable tie (supplied) into the slit of the barcket so that the USB cable is not out of the
terminal or it is not overlapping the bracket.
