Symptom
Cannot read the content of the card.
Poor picture quality.
Long time to display.
The screen turns black.Cause and remedy
•Not compatible format. Must be formatted with
FAT 12 or FAT 16.
•The extension is not “JPG”.
•The folders not under DCF standard.
If the main image cannot be read (the file is
partially corrupted), the Photo Viewer will read the
thumbnail. Please confirm the format of the image.
There are lots of images or the file size is large.
If the TV is left with no operation for longer than 5
minutes during the thumbnail screen or the single
picture view mode, the screen turns black to avoid
image retention. Press any key to return to the
normal display.
Photo Viewer
Insert a card.
The JPEG file is corrupted and cannot be
decoded.
The card is not formatted with FAT 12 or FAT 16
or if it is not DCF standard.

PIP (Picture in Picture) Operation
This television includes a two-tuner Picture In Picture (PIP) feature. This allows you to watch two (2) live broadcasts at the
same time with or without an external video source such as a VCR, cable box, etc.

The Main picture and the SPLIT frame are processed in the individual circuits, and may have slight difference in image quality.
• You cannot display the same picture in the Main picture and the SPLIT frame at the same time.
• While Main picture freeze frame is displayed, you cannot select or search the channel, swap the pictures, or select the
input mode.

Aspect Controls
Lets you choose the aspect depending on the format of the received signal and your preference.
Press to change the aspect mode.
Displays a 4:3 picture at its standard 4:3 size with
gray side bars. (It may create an after-image on
screen if displayed for a prolonged period of time.)
Expands a 4:3 picture uniformly (width and height)
to full screen width and then reposition the picture
vertically. (Recommended for letterbox. This will
show picture at full screen size.)
Displays a picture at full screen size. (Recommended
for anamorphic pictures.)
Stretches the right and left edges of a 4:3 picture to
fill the screen, and the center of the screen have
aspect correction applied. The size of the picture
depends on the original signal.
(Recommended for regular TV viewing.)

• Connect the plug of the external component to the well outlet.
• Make sure the component is turned off.

• The mode selection buttons flashes, and then
release the POWER and OK.
Select the type of the component.
• The selected button light and all others go out.
Enter the 3-digit infrared code (see pages 60-62).

Notes:
• If the component does not operate with the remote control, repeat the procedure
using another code. (Some brands have multiple codes.)
