Set the camera ON/OFF switch to OFF
Slide to the [OPEN] position 
and open the lid
[OPEN] [LOCK]
Release lever
Completely insert battery 
and card
 • Battery:  Insert all the way firmly until a locking sound is heard, and check 
that the lever is hooked over the 
battery.
 • Memory card: Push in until it clicks.
Close lid
Slide to the [LOCK] position.
