•Depending on the operating conditions, it may take time to take the next picture if you repeat 
the recording of pictures.
•It may take time to save pictures taken in Burst Mode on the ca rd. If you take pictures 
continuously while saving, the maximum number of recordable pic tures decreases. For 
continuous shooting, use of a high speed memory card is recommended.

When Red-Eye Reduction ([ ], [ ]) is selected, Red-Eye Removal is performed 
whenever the flash is used. The c amera automatically detects red-eye and corrects the picture.

This function works only when the camera detects a face.•Under certain circumstances, red-eye cannot be corrected.

You can take a picture with date and time of recording.

Date information for pictures recorded with the [Date Stamp] set cannot be deleted.
•When printing pictures with [Date Stamp] at a shop or with a printer, the date will be printed

•If the time has not been set, you cannot stamp with the date in formation.

You can play back the pictures you have taken in sequence at specified intervals.
This playback method is recommended when you have connected the  camera to a TV set to

This mode allows you to search images by Scene Mode or other categories (such as [Portrait], 
[Scenery] or [Night Scenery]) and sort the pictures into each of the categories. You can then 
play back the pictures in each category.
Press 3/ 4/2/1 to select the category and then press 
[MENU/SET] to set.
•You can play back only the category in which an image has been  found.
