Auto White Balance (AWB)
Use of auto white balance adjustment 
in inappropriate lighting conditions may 
result in reddish or bluish pictures. Where 
the subject is surrounded by many light 
sources or there are no white or whitish 
objects in the frame, auto white balance 
adjustment may not operate properly.
In this case, set the white balance to a 
mode except [AWB] manually.

To fi nely adjust the white balance
If you set other than [AWB], you can 
fi nely adjust the white balance while the 
recording screen is displayed.
The white balance can be adjusted 
for each setting independently and is 
memorized even if the camera is turned 
off.

AF MODE
Select the mode that matches the 
recording conditions and the composition.
  Face detection:
