Do not subject to strong vibration, shock, or pressure.
•The lens, LCD monitor, or external case may be damaged if used in 
below conditions. It may also malfunction or image may not be 
recorded.
–If you drop or hit the camera.–If you press hard on the lens or the LCD monitor.
This camera is not dust/splash/water proof.
Avoid using the camera in a location with a lot of dust, 
water, sand, etc.

Liquid, sand and other foreign material may get into the space...

∫Removing the Hot Shoe Cover
The camera comes with a hot shoe cover attached to the hot 
shoe.
To use the Optional Live Viewfinder  (P196) or External Flash 
(P198) , please remove the hot shoe cover.
Remove the hot shoe cover by pulling it in the 
direction indicated by arrow  2
 while pressing it in the 
direction indicated by arrow  1
.
Note
•
When the Optional Live Viewfinder or External  Flash is not being used, please ensure that the 
hot shoe cover is attached.
