•Remove the lens rear cap from the lens.
•If the body cap is fitted to the camera, remove it.

Attaching the Shoulder Strap
•We recommend attaching the shoulder strap when using the camera to prevent it from 
dropping.

Use the dedicated charger and battery.
•The battery is not charged when the camera is shipped. Charge the battery before use.
•Charge the battery with the charger indoors.

When the [CHARGE] indicator flashes–The battery temperature is too high or too low. It is recommended to charge the battery again 
in an ambient temperature of between 10 oC and 30 oC (50 o F and 86 o F).
–The terminals of the charger or the battery are dirty. In this case, wipe them with a dry cloth.
