Easily Optimizing the Brightness for a Specified 
Area 
(Touch AE)
Applicable modes: 
You can easily optimize the brightness for a touched position. When the face of the subject 
appears dark, you can brighten the screen according to the brightness of the face.
You can optimize just the brightness for a touched position or by optimizing the brightness 
when using Touch AF, you can optimize both the focus and brightness for the touched 
position.

Setting the Shutter Type
Applicable modes: 
You can take pictures using either of the two shutter methods: the Electronic Front Curtain 
method or the electronic shutter method.
¢1 Up to an ISO sensitivity of [ISO3200]. When the setting is higher than [ISO3200], the shutter 
speed will be faster than 1 second.

Taking Pictures using Burst Mode
Applicable modes: 
Pictures are taken continuously while the shutter button is pressed.
•
Pictures taken with a burst speed of [SH] will be recorded as a single burst group (P218).

•When a high ambient temperature, continuous recording in Burst Mode or other conditions are 
causing the camera to overheat, [ ]  flashes. If a message is displayed after [ ] flashes, the
