Attaching the Shoulder Strap
•We recommend attaching the shoulder strap when using the camera to prevent it from 
dropping.
1Pass the shoulder strap through the shoulder 
strap eyelet on the camera body.

ring in the direction of the arrow and then 
pass it through the stopper.

Inserting/Removing the Battery
•Check that this unit is turned off.
1Slide the release lever in the direction 
of the arrow and open the battery 
door.
•Always use genuine Panasonic batteries.•If you use other batteries, we cannot

Inserting/Removing the Card (Optional)

1Slide the card door to open it.
2Push it securely all the way until you hear a 
“click” while being careful about the 
direction in which you insert it. 
To remove the card, push the card until it 
clicks, then pull the card out upright.
