61 Troubleshooting For DVD operation For TV broadcasts (VHF, UHF) Symptoms A black band appears momentarily when selecting channels with video In some parts color tint is poor, and some parts are colored Both edges of the screen, or columns or window frames, appear bent The image from the connected equipment does not appear Parts of the screen are missing with game software The main unit is hot to the touchCause and remedy • This is due to noise generated when changing channels. • If a bright image (of white clothes, etc.) is stopped, it may be partially colored. This is not a malfunction. This will disappear when the bright screen is gone. • They may appear bent due to the received channel and the screen brightness. This is not a malfunction. • Are plugs securely inserted into each terminal? ➠Securely insert terminals all the way. • When set to self-wide or zoom screen, the top and bottom may be missing. ➠Using the screen mode, set to Full or Normal. • The main unit radiates heat, so some parts of the console reach a high temperature.
